Why Dubai buyers come to Sharjah for Persian carpets
The finest Persian carpets in the UAE are in Sharjah's Central Souq, the Blue Souk, about 25 minutes from Dubai. It holds the largest concentration of Persian carpet merchants in the country, and Al Malakia has four shops on its upper floor.
Since 2008 our family has bought direct from master weavers in Qum, Tabriz, Isfahan, Kashan and Nain. No middlemen, no retail mark-up and no mall rents, so the price reflects the carpet rather than the address.
The floor ranges from rare silk pieces at 900 knots per square inch to hand-knotted wool tribal rugs. Turn any piece over, count the knots, ask where it was woven, and take your time. Every purchase comes with a written certificate of authenticity and free delivery across the UAE.

Dubai showrooms pay premium mall rents, and that goes into the price. We trade from our own shops in the Central Souq and buy direct from the weaving families, so what you pay reflects the carpet, not the address.

How the transfer works
Private car, door to showroom, zero cost
Book on WhatsApp or by phone. We send a private driver who meets you at reception, whether you're at a Marina hotel or one in Deira. The drive is about 22 km via Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road or Airport Road, 20 to 35 minutes depending on where you are. Spend as much time at the showroom as you need. Then we bring you back to the same pickup point at no cost.
Free pickup covers Dubai, Sharjah and nearby areas. Visiting from further away? Message us on WhatsApp for photos and videos of any carpet, plus free delivery across the UAE.

Common questions from Dubai customers
Is the transfer really free?
Yes. No fee, no deposit, no minimum purchase required. The service pays for itself because customers see our actual collection in person, and most visitors find a piece they love.
How long is the drive from Dubai to Sharjah?
Between 20 and 35 minutes depending on your Dubai location and time of day. Rush-hour windows (8–10am, 5–7pm) can add 10–15 minutes.
Do you collect from Abu Dhabi or Al Ain?
No. Free pickup covers Dubai, Sharjah and nearby areas only. If you are in Abu Dhabi or Al Ain, message us on WhatsApp and we will send photos and video of any carpet, then deliver free to your door anywhere in the UAE.
Do I have to buy something?
No. Many visitors come just to browse. The transfer remains free whether you purchase or not.
Can I negotiate prices?
Absolutely — that is part of the Persian carpet buying tradition. Our displayed prices are a starting point for conversation.
What if I don't know what to look for?
That's normal. A member of our family will take time to walk you through the different types, show you the workmanship on the reverse side, and help you find something that suits your home.
Do you deliver in Dubai after purchase?
Yes. Free delivery is included anywhere in Dubai and across the UAE after purchase, and every carpet comes with a written certificate of authenticity.

Yes. Prices start at around AED 1,500 for small tribal wool pieces and reach into the hundreds of thousands for large Persian silk carpets. There is something for every budget.
