Privacy Policy
Al Malakia Persian Carpets ("we", "us") operates almalakia-carpets.com from our showroom at Shop 45–48, Central Souq Block 3, King Faisal Road, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the website, why, and what your choices are. It is written to comply with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
What we collect
Contact form: when you send an enquiry we receive the name, email address, phone number, enquiry type and message you type in. Nothing is collected from the form unless you press send.
WhatsApp, phone and email: if you contact us directly, we hold the details you share with us in order to reply and, if you buy from us, to arrange delivery and issue your certificate of authenticity.
Server logs: like every website, our server records the IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of each request. We use these records only to keep the site secure and working. They are deleted on rotation and are not linked to your name.
We do not run advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.
How we use it
To answer your enquiry, arrange a showroom visit or a complimentary transfer, and follow up on a purchase.
To keep records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices.
We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for their own marketing. We do not send newsletters unless you have asked for them.
Who processes it for us
Contact form messages are delivered to our mailbox through Resend, an email delivery service, and stored in our Google Workspace email.
The website is hosted on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in the European Union.
The map on our contact and Sharjah pages is embedded from Google Maps, and the video on our About page from YouTube (in privacy-enhanced mode). When those embeds load, Google may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
The public website sets no cookies of its own. A single session cookie is used only by our staff to log in to the content administration area.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a purchase are deleted within 24 months. Purchase records are kept for as long as UAE commercial and tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we have no legal duty to keep it. Write to info@almalakia-carpets.com or call +971 50 537 2997 and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
